Sridevi, the legend passed away on 24th February at around 2 AM in the morning in Dubai due to a cardiac arrest. She was the biggest loss of the industry this 2018 and her fans are all across in pain with the sudden loss. We at 9byhalf are remembering the Queen of Bollywood and to many hearts, through her roles which was defined differently than other main streams actresses was doing at that time.

The movie was portrayed by Sridevi as a home maker who wanted to learn English as her husband and kids were always troubled her and take her granted for her ignorance with the language. She made a difference and did the movie with utter best brilliance and dedication.

Although the movie was an invisible man with a stuff in his hand it was Sridevi who made the movie realistic with her acting and her most famous song “Hawa Hawai”. She made people realised the importance of a heroine at that time where Bollywood was all about male dominance.

 

3. Nagina & Nigahen :

She was the centre in these movies where the complete story turned and revolved around her. This was a different step back then where people are always taking male actors to the lead. The films was commercially hit and Sridevi was a SuperStar.

The love girl Sridevi who was just brilliant in Chandni, depicted the utter beauty of an Indian woman that was charismatic to the Indian audience and people were in love with Sridevi after watching her glam on the Screen.
